How Toolpia checks its work

Toolpia is maintained by one person. This page explains what is checked, what drafting assistance may be used, and what our review does not prove.

Short version: tools are exercised in a browser, the deploy build checks page wiring, and claims are compared with the code and cited primary sources. This is practical maintainer review, not an independent security, medical, legal, or financial audit.

Tool testing

Each tool is tested with ordinary input and at least one edge case before a release.
The generated site is checked for missing pages, broken internal links, duplicate metadata, canonical URLs, indexability, and mobile horizontal overflow.
File-processing tools are loaded and exercised after the connection is disabled to confirm that processing can run locally.
Tool source is checked for network-capable calls such as fetch, XMLHttpRequest, WebSocket, and beacon requests. Advertising and analytics scripts do connect to their providers, but the selected file is not passed to those scripts by Toolpia's tool code.

Offline operation alone does not prove that a site never transmits data while online. For that reason, the source review and browser Network panel are the stronger checks behind our file-privacy claim.

Calculators

Calculator pages explain their formula and assumptions. Financial and health results are estimates for education and planning; they are not professional advice. Where a result can affect money or health, we link to a relevant government or other primary source and state important limitations.

Guides and drafting assistance

Toolpia's maintainer chooses the topic, checks the paired tool, reviews the final text, and is responsible for corrections. Automated and AI-assisted drafting may be used. It is not presented as expert review. Guides that make financial, health, safety, or official-document claims should link to the primary sources used for checking them.

What “last checked” means

The date on a guide records the maintainer's most recent content check. It does not mean that a doctor, financial adviser, lawyer, government officer, or independent security company reviewed the page unless that page explicitly names such a reviewer.

Corrections

If a result, source, instruction, or privacy statement looks wrong, email contact@toolpia.tech with the page URL, the input used, the result received, and what you expected. Confirmed errors are corrected in the source and the page's checked date is updated.
